Brianna Randall and Roger MacKenzie step through the standing stones into the past
Posted on
It is interesting that this is the first episode throughout the Outlander series that Jamie and Claire Fraser do not appear; it is dedicated to Brianna and Roger’s slip through the Cairns (like Clava Cairns) into the past. You will see Claire running through a Highland forest, like ones not far from Invergordon and Inverness and hurting her ankle. She stumbles on a Highland house, many of which are able to be seen to this day. Ask your tour guide to point them out.
Much of the episode appears to be filmed in the Scottish Highlands, with the snowtipped mountains as a back drop. If you choose our Black Rock Gorge tour you will be walking through a Scottish forest of your own.
